Handover Ceremony of Ambulances and Medical Supplies at Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in The Gambia
A ceremony was held at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in The Gambia for the handover of three ambulances and essential medical supplies donated by the Spanish charity Associació Superant Fronteres, in partnership with the Gambian NGO Help Them in The Gambia Association. The event, attended by key figures including Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Lamin Samateh and Chief Medical Director Dr. Mustapha Bittaye, highlighted the donations' expected impact on healthcare and emergency services across multiple health centers. Ambassador Pa Sainey Badjie commended the collaboration, stressing its importance in strengthening the country's healthcare system. Beneficiaries include Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, Faji Kunda Health Centre, Essau Health Centre, Basse Major Health Centre, and Baja Kunda Health Centre. This donation aims to enhance emergency response and healthcare quality throughout The Gambia.
